The Continuation of Operation Decorate my Room!!

Hello again

I realize that it has been a month since I restarted my blog writhing, but I figured I would leave a gap and then say something significant, but now I'm rapping bout money hoes and rims again! Sorry bit off track and into Kanye West there!

Right, since I last wrote, the decorating of my room has progress, albeit slowly! I got a job back at RM computers where I was working in the summer, so that took up most of my day! Fortunately or unfortunately, depending how you look at it, work on my room restarted on Monday after I was 'let go' from RM on Friday. I hate that phrase! 'Let go'! It's like trying to say fired in a nice way. When my girlfriend broke up with me, Sarah said to me that I wasn't dumped, she broke up with me.

Now I understand that it sounds slightly better, but in the end I am still left single, and in the same way, I am still left with no job, whether I was fired or let go!!

Anyway, enough of that!

Apart from working, I have also done some other interesting things recently. I went down to London a few weeks ago to see Millencolin and Flogging Molly at the London Astoria. I don't know much of Flogging Molly's stuff, but they were good, and Millencolin were awesome. They were one of the few bands that I still wanted to see and I was happy that they were on such good form!

After that I drove 160 miles from Oxford to Eastbourne to watch Oxford United play Eastbourne Borough in the first round of the FA Cup. I went with a good mate of mine called Tim, and also with James, one of Tim's uni friends. Although the game ended in a disappointing 1-1 draw, with Eastbourne scoring a penalty in the last minute, it was still an enjoyable day out! Tim and I also went to the reply in Oxford, where the legend who is Steve Basham scored a hat trick to see off Eastbourne. A real foot (foot = end of your leg = leg end = legend! Clever!)
We also went to see Oxford lose 3-0 to Wrexham in between those games, but the less said about that the better!

These have been some of my highlights of the past few weeks, which to be honest has been quite good!

I have also spent huge amounts of time watching the West Wing recently. Considering that just before I started decorating my room, I hadn't watched a full episode, the fact that I am now 2/3 of the way through the 6th season can be seen as impressive and worrying in equal parts! And for the record I love Donna Moss!

Last weekend saw me driving to Loughborough to visit Dan and Nelson. It was a good weekend, which included much drinking, much takeaway food, much xbox, watching the Wallace and Gromit film and lying at Nelly's girlfriend's house. Oddest part of the weekend was Coco ( Nelly's girlfriend's housemate) taking my shoelace out of my shoes while I 'tried' to stop her! Either that or Dan trying it on with Lucille! I won't explain!
Hopefully this weekend will be just as interesting as I am once again returning to the 'Borough' for Nelson's birthday. Should be an interesting weekend!

Last night I went karting in Milton Keynes with my brother and some of his friends from his work. Although they managed to push the 6pm meeting point to its limit, everyone got there and it was a good night. I got the second fastest lap time of our group, a 1:17.61, which was bettered only by David's 1:13 something. But given David's weight and experience advantage, I am claiming the better time!

Right, I think that is all for now since I have been writhing for a while! I have an interview next Tuesday with a company called the Pentland Group. They are based in Finchley and own companies such as Speedo and Mitre! I will post again after the interview to let you all know how it went! I may even post before if you are all very lucky!

I will post some pictures later of my almost completed room!

Much Love
